Hey everyone!
I am now back in Chula Vista! after an incredible summer!
Ok our last day of riding was beautiful. The day was perfect and it was perfect weather for the beach. it was a 30 mile ride in Santa Barbara......at around mile 22 everyone stops and meets up. At this stop location Jo tong's parents gave us a little snack. They are amazing! They would send Jo things throughout the trip and Jo would pass around amazing fruit!.....After everyone arrives here in this little spot we head out all together towards our final destintion. This was the most fun I have had riding because it was all 31 of us!
We looked freakin awesome! We roll into East beach to parents, Family, and the media! We felt like famous people with the amount of people that were at the beach waiting for us.....but as soon as we rolled in we kicked off our expensive things and booked it to the beach.
This also was a great moment in that everyone was together and enjoying the nice warm water and each opthers company as well! This was also a great bonding moment for the group. Everyone was hugging everyone!
It was beautiful.
This group by far is the best one and I know it will be hard if not impossible to make another trip as amazing as this one. The amount of bonding and getting to know each other was huge. Everyone was there to help each other through tough times. This group of people is indescribable. It was like we turned into a family within the first week. Who knew that 31 strangers could become so close so fast....
I already miss the motly crew and I know we are going to stay in touch. There is no way that we will just disappear off the face of the earth with what we all had to go through this summer. I will never forget this experience!
Now....I have to figure out Australia and the rest of my life hahahaha!
Bye everyone!

Only 9 days left????
So I am in Ash Fork, AZ now and only 9 days away from being done! This is insane!
The past two days were amazing because we camped at the Grand Canyon! Yes real camping as in we were in tents! It was an experience and a half! I love camping haha.
I got to see the sunrise with Lynn and Hilary which was awesome! It was so gorgeous and breathtaking to see this once more. We stayed and watched it go through the phases and just breathed in the cool air! After we went to get breakfast and Lynn bought for me which I was very greatful for :) She is awesome!
After breakfast everyone went back to camp and we napped.....I woke up and it was still morning! haha thats what happens when you are used to getting up at 330 am :-p I roamed around after my nap and did nothing really. I talked to my friend jackie which was amazing because I like talking to her :) It was like she was there with me watching the Canyon :D
We had good dinners both nights cooked by dinner crew which is amazing! There was a campfire both nights with s'mores!
Today's ride was crazy with a 6 mile downhill at the end! It was pretty scary because of the Semi trucks passing by. I reached my all time high at 52 mph!....I was so scared but I made it!
I cant wait till we get to vegas because its going to be fun! Staying in the Imperial Palace with beds and showers! and we are there two days!? man oh man its going to be a crazy 2 days!
Well that is all I have for now! I cant wait to be in California!
Bye!

It's my Birthday today
So today I was awaken by some of erins lovely noise maker things haha. She ran into where I was sleeping and gave the biggest hug :) I dont think I could have woken up any better :D
At my feet were balloons! They had writing on them with great sayings! They were beautiful and I had two posters on the wall saying happy birthday and 22 heh!
The music as well this morning was great heh. As Dani would say "it is the most bipolar playlist ever!" Heh it is Laurens birthday too! She is turning 24 :) so we share the day :) She likes country and I like dance type music so the playlist was a mix of those two.
I was in a pretty good mood up until I started riding. I hate hills and there were a lot of them today. It put me in a sour mood which I didnt like it because its my birthday.
jane caught me and she tried to distract me from the misery and she did good heh right before lunch she started singing and it brought my mood up slightly....then as we rolled into lunch we both got suprised by the participants....if you want to know how just ask me later :-p
then it was off for another 30 miles of horrid up hill.....I made it to second lunch in a bit better spirits. It was pretty cold though because it had been raining. But jane and I warmed up in the gas station and everyone there seemed somewhat cheerful. After a few snacks and a hot chocolate from erin it was back to climbing 5 more miles....then,.....an amazing 18 mile downhill!
I reached 48 mph today! I was so pumped that for the rest of the way down I kept a 30mph pace! I was so filled with adrenaline Jane thought it was hilarious! it was awesome! I have never kept that pace for that long!
So right now its pretty chill waiting for dinner to be made :) and who knows of what else may happen tonight!
That is all for now!
Bye

New Mexico!
Hey everyone,
We have made it to New Mexico! We are now in mountain time hahaha its pretty awesome.
It was an 80 mile ride and for some reason it just dragged on but I made it through with the help of devon, jess, and hilary. They just talked and listened so it was all good!
So a lot has happened since i last updated.
In texas we had a build day in amarillo texas. It was very eventful and full of media. I was not in the shots because I was at the ReStore location but I had fun there as well. I met a nice mover man and we teamed up well heh. Oliver and Sarah joined me in the second part of the day.
Also we went to the Big Texan! one of our riders, jorge, did the great steak challenge. What that is is there is a 72 ounce steak with all of its sides and the person needs to eat it in one hour and its free if not they have to pay the amount its worth. Jorge was a real trooper he almost ate the entire steak. Our group chipped in to pay for it and we cheered him on. He was amazing.
That night was a lot of fun too! I hung out with erin, skip, charlotte, jess, Johanna and had a good time. It was just an amazing night. I hope to get some pictures up soon!
So thats my update for now. Tomorrow we have a 92 mile to Roswell, NM!

A little run down!
Hey guys,
I have a little more time on the computer and I decided to do a little rundown of what has gone on the past few weeks.
It has been an up and down rollercoaster!
Back in newcomerstown we were in a parade for the little town. It was pretty awesome heh. I love being in parades! We looked amazing.
Another thing we saw a giant giraffe on the road as well. It was made of like plastic or something it was pretty weird.
Also on the trip I saw a business complex shaped like a basket! Yea...a basket! it was awkward but amazing at the same time hahaha.
As for right now we have been travelling route 66! There are different attractions on the side of the road that i have seen...they inclue the Shoe tree (shoes actually hanging all over it), a huge blue whale made out of ceramic!, A Gigantic soda bottle sculpture which was cool, and I am pretty sure we are going to see more along the route 66!
So its been interesting. It has also been really hot. It is something the group in general is starting to get used to. Its tough to say how your body will react when it comes to the heat without any shade.
So that is a recap its pretty down to the point :) Also I still get text messages so give me a txt ^_^ if I have service I will def answer back as soon as I can!
Take care everyone until next time!

Tulsa, Oklahoma
So today was an amazing build day!
the people were soooo friendly and amazing!
We were all separated into groups and everyone worked on something different. I was on the shed building group. We put up and entire shed it was a lot of fun!
We put up the foundation, the walls and the roofing and we almost finished it! It was a lot of fun heh. This girl Meg is super hilarious and seems to be able to make me laugh haha :) I love it.
There is a great little group of girls (Meg, Lauren "butters", and Erin) who when put together are pretty funny and sarcastic :) Its great haha they are a great time.
Also today on the build site I was interviewed by Fox 23! it was live! The reporter would answer questions that the people in the newsroom would ask her and then the woman getting the home and myself were interviewed for live TV! It was intense!
So all in all today was a great build day! That is all for now! If you want to follow more about us read the trip journals on the bike and build website!
